About
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics, with a specialization in Statistics and Computer Science, at Université du Québec A Montréal (UQAM) in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), under the supervision of Arthur Charpentier and Ewen Gallic. My research focuses on Trustworthy AI, with an emphasis on fairness through causal modeling and Optimal Transport theory, as well as on the analysis of uncertainty and explainability in machine learning models, and on the reliability of predictive model outputs through the concept of calibration, with applications in actuarial science. I am also interested in the modeling of natural disasters. In particular, I have had the opportunity to work on projecting the risk of drought-related climate events using extreme value theory. Furthermore, my Master’s thesis in actuarial science, conducted in France, focused on the reinsurance of storm risk.
